FAQs

Question

IS THERE A DRESS CODE?

Answer

We'd love to see our friends and family dress up with us! We are requesting cocktail attire (semi-formal) for our wedding. Please no jeans, t-shirts, or flip flops! We also ask that guests avoid wearing any shades of blue or reserved colors for the bride. Please keep in mind the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors, weather permitting.

Question

CAN I BRING A PLUS ONE?

Answer

We can only accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you receive a plus one it will appear on your invitation as {Your Name} + {Guest}. We want to keep our wedding intimate with our closest family and friends!

Question

ARE KIDS INVITED?

Answer

We're teachers, of course we love kids! However, we have decided to keep our wedding as adult only, 21+ are invited. We encourage you to take a night off and use this as a date night!

Question

IS THERE PARKING AT THE VENUE?

Answer

Our venue does offer free parking if you choose to drive. However, we will be providing transportation so be sure to check out the travel section for more information.

Question

WHEN SHOULD I RSVP?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP by May 1st, 2026 to ensure we have enough time to calculate our final headcount! After this date we will sadly have to assume that you will not be joining us.

Question

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 so we kindly ask that you arrive 30 minutes early to assure you don't miss anything. This will also give you time to park, take in the scenery, and find your seat. If you arrive after the ceremony has started, you will not be seated and will have to wait until cocktail hour to enter. Thank you for understanding.

Question

CAN I TAKE PICTURES DURING THE CEREMONY?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins we ask that all phones be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographers to be able to capture the best pictures which we will share with you. Once the ceremony is over, please feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like and don't forget to share them with us!
