South Carolina Aquarium
The aquarium is so much fun and a perfect afternoon for adults and children alike! Our favorite areas of the aquarium are the sea turtle rescue center and the stingray pool. It also has a super easy parking garage for parking.
Little Jack's Tavern
We grabbed dinner here the night before booking our venue and it's such a cool atmosphere! It's a little pricey, but their burgers and crab cakes are amazing! They also have a free parking lot across the street.
Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum
Tour the USS Yorktown, the centerpoint of the museum and World War II aircraft carrier. Also check out their Cold War Memorial and the only Vietnam Experience Exhibit in the U.S.!
Jim 'N Nick's BBQ
This place is AMAZING! It's budget friendly, but you wouldn't know that compared to the quality of the food. Their chili, cheese, & brisket fries are to die for and their catfish and Carolina style pulled pork sandwiches are also amazing. Fun Fact: The famous Andrew Zimmern visited the original location in Alabama!
Fort Sumter National Monument
Take a ferry over to Fort Sumter and check out where the Civil War began!
Poe's Tavern - Sullivans Island
This one is a little drive from all of the festivities, but it's definitely eclectic and the food is great! If you couldn't tell from the name, it's Edgar Allen Poe themed!
ChuckTown Axe Throwing
There's a brewery in the same building called Rusty Bull Brewing Co and is close to all the hotels we recommend!
Kaminsky's Dessert Cafe
You cannot go to Charleston without getting something from Kaminsky's!!!
