It was game seven of the Stanley Cup Finals, Zach was at Still Golden watching with his brother. Loryn was meeting some friends to catch up. While waiting for service they bumped shoulders trying to avoid a man who was crying at the other end of the bar top. Later on, Loryn invited herself over to Zach and his brothers table. They talked for four hours, the rest is history.

After rushing Loryn out of the house in the middle of multiple outfit changes, they headed to their favorite Saturday spot at the Pearl. Although their beloved Still Golden was no longer standing they went to the closet thing to it, Hello Paradise. After a particularly silly comment made by Loryn, Zach said “I love you, and I want to be with you having these conversations forever”. He got down on one knee, and asked Loryn to marry him. She ugly cried and said absolutely.
