Lizzie transferred to Old Dominion University at the beginning of her junior year. Wanting to make the most of her experience, Lizzie reached out to a few people she knew from high school that also attended ODU. Zach was one of the few. Over the course of that fall semester, they hung out on campus grabbing lunch and studying together at the library. When it was time for Lizzie's first sorority semi formal event, she knew Zach would be a fun date and they danced the night away together at Baxter's on Granby Street. Lizzie and Zach went on their first date that Christmas break to see Les Mis and the rest was history!
