It all began in August 2021, when mutual friends played matchmaker at a birthday party — and sparks flew instantly. Just weeks later, Lauren and Zach joined the same group of friends on a Labor Day trip to Mexico. As fate would have it, the only two “single friends” ended up sharing the bunk bed room, and what could’ve been awkward turned into the start of something unforgettable. Between late-night dancing — including one unforgettable tumble on the dance floor — and quiet moments watching ocean storms from the rooftop, they quickly realized this was something special. Back home, there was one final test for Zach: earning the approval of Lauren’s beloved corgi, Jackson. Safe to say, Jackson fell just as hard as his mom did. After a year of dating, they moved in together, blending their lives (and Lauren’s endless home project ideas) into a cozy, laughter-filled home. Their weekends are often packed with fun — from golfing together (one of Zach’s greatest lessons to Lauren), to catching live music at concerts and festivals, or heading off on spontaneous adventures with friends.
