We're getting married!!!

We met while attending our separate colleges in Iowa in 2019. Zach at William Penn University and Kirsten at Central College. Somehow our worlds collided while attending school only 20 minutes from each other when we had lived only 45 minutes apart our whole lives. We began hanging out and getting to know each other right before Kirsten went to study abroad, but the distance only furthered our relationship and pushed us to spend the time to build the foundation to our relationship.

I (Kirsten) had come home from work to the (very small) apartment to find the bed with the love post-its that Zach had been giving me since we began dating and music on. Zach came out and I could tell he was nervous and we just stood and hugged for what felt like forever, but I will never forget how much I needed that closeness. When Zach let go, he went on one knee and asked me to marry him. I was so excited and immediately said YES!
