While both working as leads at our local Sports Basement store, we became friends and started sharing about our individual mix of being both adventure seekers and homebodies. After talking more at work, we found a mutual love of bowling. Katie texted Zach about making it a date and at first she thought she got ghosted. Thank goodness she asked about it the next week at work because it turned out Zach never got the text! We set a date and time and Zach had to make sure Katie wouldn’t give him grief about bringing his own shoes and ball (she now has her own as well). After bowling for two hours, we spent the next five talking in the parking lot into the wee hours of the morning. After that it was hiking, more bowling, and after celebrating a new job Zach asked Katie to make it official! Three years later, many adventures, love and loss, Zach got down on one knee and asked Katie to be his wife. We look forward to commemorating this exciting day with all of the people in our lives who mean the most to us, and hope you will be able to join the party.
