Is there a dress code?

Our wedding will be a formally encouraged affair, and we kindly ask guests to wear ALL-BLACK attire. Think a black suit or sport coat, your favorite black gown, cocktail dress, or a dressy jumpsuit. Feel free to add a pop of white or other soft neutrals to make it your own. We can’t wait to celebrate in style with all of you!

What is "Formal Attire Encouraged"?
Answer
“Formal attire encouraged” means you’re welcome to wear your most formal look (like a tux or floor-length gown), but may also choose to wear a suit, dress pants, or a cocktail dress instead. Our wedding party will be in all-black formalwear, and we’d love for guests to match that level of formality. We promise once you arrive at the venue for our big day you'll see this vision come to life!

How do I RSVP and when is the RSVP deadline?

Kindly RSVP by October 1, 2025 to ensure we can accommodate everyone comfortably! You can RSVP right here on our wedding website—just click the RSVP tab, enter your name, and let us know if you'll be joining us. If your plans change, no worries! Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?
Answer
For your convenience, we have reserved a block of rooms at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Ottawa, located about 3 miles from the venue. To book your stay at the discounted rate ($109) please call (785) 521-7009 before October 1, 2025, and mention that you are with the Buckley/Pelton wedding party.

Can I bring a plus-one?
Answer
Due to space constraints, we can only accommodate named guests on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding!
Question
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Our ceremony will be held in an outdoor garden, weather permitting, followed by an indoor reception.

There is ample free parking available on the streets around the venue and in the lot across S Hickory Street.

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?
Answer
The venue is ADA compliant and accessible for all guests with elevator access to both floors and street level parking.
