Sexton Plaza Beach
Free parking that is central to downtown/oceanside Vero Beach. The steps down to the beach are located between Ocean Grill on your right as you face the ocean, and Mulligan’s on your left. Sexton Plaza and the surrounding Ocean Drive area are also filled with great shops and restaurants to explore. Sexton Plaza has a lot of parking spaces, but if those are full, you can look for a spot along Ocean Drive.
Jaycee Beach Park
Another beach just north of Sexton Plaza in Vero. Lots of free parking, a pretty boardwalk, and Seaside Grill.
Round Island Beach Park
Park with picnic pavilions, a playground & walking trails, plus beach access.
South Beach Park
If you want to experience the absolute best of our local coastline, this is the spot! It is one of the most beautiful and well-maintained beaches in the area, offering gorgeous wide stretches of sand and a wonderfully relaxed, classic Florida atmosphere. Free parking.
Farmers' Market Oceanside
EVERY SATURDAY 8AM - NOON The oceanside market is right across from the beach along Ocean Drive in Vero. It is smaller and more intimate than the massive Fort Pierce market. Super cute & great location!
Fort Pierce Farmer's Market
EVERY SATURDAY 8AM - 1PM Huge farmer's market with lots of variety. We've always parked in the free public parking garage: 300-310 Orange Ave, Fort Pierce, FL 34950, adjacent to City Hall.
Waldo's Restaurant
Awesome restaurant in downtown Vero Beach with a pool and outdoor area right on the water. Island vibes.
Mulligan's Beach House
Great laid-back spot for lunch or dinner on the ocean.
Square Grouper Tiki Bar Ft Pierce Inlet
Great tiki bar with views of the Fort Pierce Inlet. Live music and lots of outdoor waterfront seating!
American Icon Brewery
If you are looking for a lively spot to grab a great beer and a bite to eat while you're in town, this is one of our absolute favorites! Housed in Vero Beach’s historic, massive old power plant, it features a huge, airy industrial taproom with an amazing vibe and plenty of space to hang out.
Veterans Memorial Island Sanctuary
This is part of a trail and is beautiful to walk through if you're looking to get some activity!
Four Suns Surf and Coffee
This place perfectly blends beach culture with exceptional coffee. Located right on Ocean Drive, it is a trendy surf shop and a specialty coffee bar all rolled into one.

Schacht Groves
The cutest little farm store featuring pick-your-own oranges plus a gift shop for fresh or frozen citrus, honey, pies, ice cream and gifts.

A hand-crafted small batch Ice Creamery located on Hutchinson Island in Fort Pierce. They have boozy ice cream too!
