I met Jessica when I moved to Madison County in 2nd grade. Joining Peewee cheerleading Jessica was one of the first people to talk to me and take me in as the new girl. As we went through grade school our friendship grew stronger as we grew closer. We would spend summers together weeks at a time. Our friendship has seen it all through the years! The good, the bad and everything in between. Through our lives we have lived across the country from each other and have gone to different schools/colleges while still staying closer than ever. Jessica is the sister I never had and the best friend I always needed...and going 18 years strong with my ride or die! I love you Jessie Bug and I can’t wait to stand by your side as you marry the man of your dreams.

Jessica and I have been through it all together. We were born cousins but our relationship over the years has evolved into that of an unbreakable sisterhood. Some things haven’t changed though- like our love for the Dixie Chicks, Karen’s desserts, reminiscing over our absurdly insane and hilarious childhoods, and being there for each other during times of sadness and joy. We made a promise with each other that no matter what happens beyond, or in, our control that we would always remain close - and that we have. You’re one of my closest friends and one of the greatest people I’ve ever known, Jessie! I love you (and Zach) beyond words and am so incredibly happy for the both of you. I couldn’t dream up a better couple.

To accurately, express the relationship between Jessica and I, a visual image of me sneaking cookie dough inside my bridesmaid gown down the aisle for her and I to share during the ceremony would be the closest I could come to it. Jessica and I have been through every life stage, from birth, to deciding who was Buffy/Willow, to regrettable MySpace photos, to supporting each other through the loss of loved ones and scary life moves, and to ultimately implementing our places in adulthood. I am so honored that I was chosen to be your cousin, and that we created the precedent that sisterhood surpasses strict familial ties. For your special day, I will allow you to be Buffy. I met Jessica about 4 years ago when Zach’s mom began dating my dad. A year or so down the road, the stars aligned and Jessica began working with me at La Mer. Not only was Jess an incredible asset to the team, but she became an irreplaceable part of my life. She’s just got a light about her that draws everyone in to her. She’s got an absolutely infectious personality. We just clicked and I am so lucky that I can call her a friend. We’ve laughed until we cried, and we’ve cried until we laughed. Seeing her every day at work was a highlight of my day. We always joked about how we should be sick of each other after 9-hour work days, then going out afterwards together. Several years later, I’m still not sick of her and I never will be. I love you J.SAL.

Zach and I met in the library of Calhoun. He was sitting at a computer working on something with a motorcycle helmet beside him. I sat my helmet down beside his and said, "So you ride bro?". We started our friendship off by riding motorcycles, through the back roads of Gurley, Alabama that day. Soon after that we were doing homework together and discussing future plans. That's when he told me he ran back into his old crush, Ms. Jessica Salisbury! Not long after that we were all going to the mountains of Cullman together for tons of off-road fun, and countless backyard parties. Zach Collison has been one of my best friends from day one! I look forward to watching him and his lovely wife, continue to grow and prosper together. May we have many more exhilarating adventures together!
