We're getting married or sumthin'...

Hannah's side of the story: One night me and my gals got together to go country swing dancing down town at the Infinity Center. The night was going great and we were all having a great time. I am not the best at dancing, it was maybe my third time going. I danced with a lot of strange sweaty men, then decided to take a break and hang out on the side of the dance floor with my gals. As we were talking, I notice a tall figure approaching our group in my peripheral view, and before I knew it, I was asked to be joined on the dance floor. I was like, "Finally!!! Someone really cute!! Don't blow it!!" I mean if I am honest I did not go out trying to find anyone. But after seeing how dang handsome and polite he was I was like okay wow just stay cool. After the song ended, I had him dance with all of my friends afterwords to keep him around... We danced again after he danced with all my friends (my weird plan to keep him around worked). We both ran out of dance moves and just started spinning in the same old country step circle until we decided to step off the dance floor and start talking so we could actually hear each other. We talked about hunting, school, our plans for the future, etc. Nothing too deep and just basic get to know you stuff. Anyway, then my friends were ready to leave and go to Denny's. I asked if he wanted to join and he said that he was his friends ride and they wanted to stay longer. So we exchanged numbers and said we'd have to plan another time to go out, and we did. And that's how we met!!

This story did not go how it was planned.... but it was definitely a surprise. -What was supposed to happen: Go shooting, during the last hour of the day, (sunset aka golden hour), cut out a used shotgun shell and write a note to put inside of it. The gun would "jam", leaving Hannah to eject the shell and inspect it only to find the note inside.... she reads the note, turns around and Zach is on one knee with the ring and says, "Hannah, will you marry me?" she says yes, starts crying and hugs the crap out of Zach. FIN -What ACTUALLY happened.... Hannah, Zach and Chucko head out to Eden to go shooting. The sun was already "set" up in Eden because of the mountains... So no golden hour sunlight, but still enough to shoot. Zach, Chucko, and Hannah all take turns shooting, and every three shots they switch. It gets to the last turn and Zach insists that Hannah be the last one to shoot. When she goes to reach for the shot gun shells, Zach tells her that he wants to load the gun for her. He says, "I know you know how, I just wanna do it for you.". After the gun is loaded, Hannah is ready to shoot and says, "PULL!" for the clay pigeon. She hits it. Second pigeon is thrown. The gun jams. She ejects the shell, picks it up and inspects it. She can't tell what is wrong with it, but knows that there is something wrong with it. She says, "I think something is wrong, it's like its already been used or something... it looks like it's been cut?? Is that paper inside? Is there supposed to be paper inside?!" She holds it out to Zach and keeps asking what is wrong with it. He finally has to grab it and pull out the paper for her. She then realizes what is going on. Zach pauses for a moment, kisses Hannah, can't stop smiling and remembers the ring. He pulls out the ring, gets on one knee and pops the question. Hannah says "yes" without shedding any tears. FIN
