Not quite yet! We are hoping to gauge initial interest in where people want to stay during the weekend, so please fill out this (super quick!) Google form to let us know your preference! Google form: https://forms.gle/cffD4nP63MHYLSUF7 Once we have a better idea of how many people will stay on camp, we'll reach out individually over the summer to confirm your intent and let you know of your on-site accommodations. Everyone who wants to stay on camp will likely be able to do so, but if not, there is plenty of space with the hotel blocks as well!
For those who would like to stay in one of our hotel blocks, you should go ahead and book directly through one of the options on the "Travel" page. For those who end up lodging on camp over the weekend, when we reach out over the summer with more information about your accommodations, we will include payment information in that message.
In addition to running a Jewish summer camp, OSRUI also operates a year-round retreat center with hotel-style and dorm-style lodging. All rooms come with comfortable linens and towels and are heated and air-conditioned. You can see more by visiting OSRUIretreat.org
For the Friday night dinner, we recommend dressy casual. For the ceremony and reception Saturday evening, it will be cocktail attire. For Saturday during the day and the Sunday brunch, come as you are! *We recommend low heels or flats, as we will be walking on gravel pathways Saturday evening.
Absolutely! We would still love to see you for the ceremony and reception Saturday night, but it's understandable if you don't want to be at camp all weekend. If you do lodge on camp it has to be for both Friday and Saturday night, but you can see the travel page for nearby hotels if you just plan on being in town for Saturday!
This will not be the same mess hall meals you may remember from your summer camp days. You can expect nourishing food with many options at each meal as well as some special treats throughout the weekend. The cocktail hour and wedding reception meal will also be served by an outside caterer. We are happy to accommodate any dietary restrictions/allergies as long as you let us know in your RSVP. *All food served from the camp kitchen will be Kosher style. All of the meat served from the camp kitchen will be certified Kosher meat.*
Typical Friday night dinners are for out-of-towners, so knowing none of our guests live in Oconomowoc, everyone is invited to the Friday night dinner! For Saturday, everyone is invited to spend the day at camp and take advantage of the activities available! Only those lodging on camp will be invited to partake in the Saturday breakfast and Saturday lunch.
