FAQs

Question

Where do we park?

Answer

Parking space is limited, so please carpool or get dropped off if possible. Parking will be on the lawn and along the road—look for the signs.

Question

When should I show up?

Answer

We have made the decision to share our wedding ceremony with only wedding party and family. We warmly welcome all of our cherished friends to our home for a reception at 7pm with drinks, finger foods, and live music! We will be doing our first dance at 7:30, so be sure to make it by then!

Question

Food?

Answer

We'll be having a sit down dinner with only wedding party and family, but for all those joining at the reception, we will have finger foods and some drinks, as well as a late night snack.

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

We love your little ones, but we’re aiming for an adults-only vibe. That said, if finding a babysitter is going to keep you from joining us, bring them along—we’d rather have you there! Just a heads-up: there will be plenty of drinks flowing.

Question

What’s the deal with drinking?

Answer

We’re doing a fun hybrid: part open bar, part BYOB. We’ll have some drinks provided, but you’re also more than welcome to bring your own beverages (or a bottle of wine to share).

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Think garden-party chic! Light, breezy, and a little fancy—but keep in mind we’ll be celebrating on the lawn, so pick shoes that won’t sink into the grass.

Question

If I’m drinking, how will I get home?

Answer

No worries! We’ll have a shuttle running throughout the evening with drop-offs in Windsor and nearby areas (sorry, no Halifax stops). Please don’t drink and drive—we want you safe and sound!

Question

Are dogs allowed?

Answer

Yes! We love having dogs around. Just make sure they’re on their best behavior (no stealing wedding cake 🐾) and remember that you’re responsible for them.

Question

Should I Bring a Gift?

Answer

Your presence is gift enough, but if you would like to make a contribution to the newly weds, we will be accepting homemade & heartfelt gifts or cash that will go towards our honeymoon. E-transfers can be made to gail.armour@gmail.com (or you can bring cash/cheques on the day).

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Yes! You’re welcome to bring a plus one—just make sure to include their name when you RSVP so we know how many people to expect

Question

Do I have to RSVP?

Answer

Yes. Please make our wedding planning easier.
