Question

Testing

Answer

Given what we now understand about the risk of asymptomatic transmission, even by vaccinated individuals, we are asking that each guest get tested for Covid before coming to the wedding. Testing is free and widely available at most pharmacies, including CVS and Walgreens, and you can purchase take home antigen tests at pharmacies and online. PCR / NAAT Tests are more accurate but it can take a few days to receive results. Antigen tests are less accurate but usually show results in less than 30 minutes. How you get tested is ultimately up to you, but we feel that every guest needs to be tested so we can all celebrate safely and comfortably.

Question

Vaccination

Answer

97% of our eligible guests have been vaccinated, and we strongly encourage the rest to get vaccinated before our wedding. This is important for your health and safety, but it’s also important given that policies continue to shift. If the state of New Jersey or certain travel providers change their vaccine requirements closer to our wedding, they may make it impossible for unvaccinated guests to attend the wedding.

Question

Outdoors/Indoors

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony – and much of the cocktail hour – will be outdoors. We are looking into ways to increase air flow during the indoor reception.

Question

Masks

Answer

In general, we will not be asking guests to wear masks. Any guest may wear a mask if they would like to do so. We expect any guests over the age of 12 who are not vaccinated to wear a mask except when eating or outdoors.
