What is the dress code for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

We’d love for our guests to join us in garden formal or semi-formal attire. Gentlemen, please wear a suit or blazer with dress pants. Ladies, please wear a midi dress, floor-length dress, jumpsuit, or dressy separates (see the collage above for inspiration!) To match our garden-party vibe, light and pastel colors and floral prints are welcomed, but not required. Bridesmaids will be in floor-length pastel pink dresses.

What do I do if I need to change my RSVP?

If you need to update your RSVP after April 27th, please reach out to Cynthia or Zach.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate our wedding day with our closest friends and family. Due to the capacity restrictions of our venue, we ask that only those named on the invitation and/or RSVP page attend. If you have any questions about this, feel free to reach out to the bride or groom. Thank you for understanding!

Can I bring my children?

Answer

To allow our guests, including other parents, a night of relaxation, our wedding will be an adults-only event. Everyone invited in your party will be listed on your invitation and the RSVP page for transparency.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Guests can start arriving at 4:15pm. We ask that everyone is seated by 4:45 pm for our 5:00 pm start time.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

As weather allows, our ceremony and cocktail hour is planned to be outdoors, followed by an indoor reception.

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Yes, please see the "Travel and Accommodations" tab of our website for more details about our hotel blocks at the Embassy Suites and Hotel Indigo in downtown Asheville. The booking deadline to receive the discounted rate for both hotels is 5/21 and 5/23, respectively.

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is ample free parking at Laurel Ridge Country Club. Additionally, if needed, vehicles can be left at the venue overnight.

Is there shuttle transportation to and from the venue?

Answer

Yes, for those who would prefer not to drive we have arranged for shuttle transportation to and from both the Embassy Suites and Hotel Indigo Downtown. All guests may use the shuttles regardless of if you have booked accommodations at those hotels. The shuttles will begin loading at the front of both hotels at 3:30 pm and will depart at 3:45 pm sharp. If you intend to use the shuttle please ensure you are on board no later than 3:45 pm. The shuttle will transport guests back to both hotels at 9:30pm and at the end of the night at 11 pm.

What type of food will be served at the reception?

Answer

We will have an open bar and a buffet with chicken and fish. Please indicate on your RSVP if you have any dietary restrictions or require a vegetarian entree so we can do our best to accommodate!

Will food be served at the welcome party?

Answer

Yes! We will have dinner catered by Bear's Smokehouse BBQ, a local Asheville staple!
