Things To Do

We encourage all of our guests to rent a car, and spend a few days before or after the wedding in Puerto Rico. There is so much to see not only in Old San Juan, but also the rest of the island! If you need any recommendations for restaurants, bars, or anything else, please let us know.
Vieques and Culebra

Vieques and Culebra

Puerto Rico

Coral's favorite place in the whole world. These are the two most beautiful islands off the east coast, and home to some of Puerto Rico's most beautiful beaches. You can get there by a short plane ride from the Isla Grande or SJU airports, or you can drive to Fajardo and take the ferry for a few dollars. You can also do a one day catamaran tour. They'll pick you up from the hotel in San Juan and take you there and back in a day!

El Yunque Rainforest

El Yunque Rainforest

Río Grande 00745, Puerto Rico

The El Yunque National Forest is the only tropical rainforest in the national forest system. At nearly 29,000 acres, it is one of the smallest in size, yet one of the most biologically diverse. You'll experience the breathtaking scenery, clear mountain rivers, and awesome hikes.

Toro Verde

Toro Verde

Camino Toro Verde, Orocovis 00720, Puerto Rico

We went ziplining here a couple of years ago, and it was a blast. ToroVerde is the largest adventure park in the Caribbean and Americas where you can enjoy our beautiful landscapes that will leave you breathless, with a spectacular view of the mountains of Orocovis. They also have the longest Zipline of the Americas, with a 2.5km cable.

Bioluminescent Bay

Bioluminescent Bay

Fajardo, Puerto Rico

There are only five ecosystems in the world where the concentration of these planktons is high enough to be considered bioluminescent bays, and Puerto Rico is home to three of them. These rare ecosystems happen when microscopic, single-celled organisms called dinoflagellates grow in quantities big enough to produce a “glow-in-the-dark” effect when stimulated by movement. So, when you paddle or splash the water, these organisms light up in a neon blue-green color, and so does everything they come in contact with, giving a star-like reflection to the water.

Piñones

Piñones

Carolina, Loíza, Puerto Rico

Where you'll find the best typical Puerto Rican food and experience the best of Native Afro-Caribbean culture.
