The story begins one night when Christina and I met on a Dating App called Bumble. I just moved to Jacksonville, Fl. from Smalltown, USA to attend a Commercial Diving Academy. One night bored laying in bed, I realized I had a dating app (Bumble) downloaded on my phone. I never used a dating app before but being in a new place I decided this would be the perfect time to meet someone new. Christina was one of the first girls I swiped yes for and the chemistry was instant. We would stay up late texting each other having never ending conversations just to wake up in the morning and continue them. After having such amazing chemistry through text we decided it was time to meet in person. The date was March 6th and the destination was California Pizza Kitchen. I was so nervous standing outside the restaurant, I was going over in my head the first thing I would say to her when we met in person. After much rehearsal I seen the most gorgeous girl walking across the street towards me. I exhaled slowly and then the smoothest line came out of my mouth was “Catch me outside, How bout that?” After realizing what I just said I wanted to slap myself in the face, but luckily Christina laughed and we continued to dinner. Even though I had no wardrobe down here yet and was wearing work cargo shorts, over sized flip flops, and a North Face jacket as my best wardrobe options, Christina still accepted me. The Chemistry was unreal and the butterflies were overwhelming. She is all I thought about from that moment on and I couldn’t wait to see her again. After that night we spent every second we could together, and even decided to move in together. We became best friends and did everything together and it was a no brainer she would some day become my wife. So on March 31st in Charleston, South Carolina I got down on one knee and made it official. We continue to grow closer, do everything together, and she is still my best friend!

Our love story begins after swiping through Bumble and seeing this handsome blonde hair, blue eyed boy smiling the biggest smile at me in dive gear. I felt really drawn to that smile, so I swiped right. I got lucky enough to match with Zach, who decided I was pretty enough to swipe right on. Since girls need to be the first to start a conversation, I just wrote something generic like, "Heyy :)" which ya know, is a really exciting and original conversation starter. But Zach responded back and quickly we fell into easy conversation. After talking on the app daily and as often as we could, we then exchanged numbers and our conversations also started deepening. I felt a connection with Zach even before meeting him. I was excited to meet him in person, but it took two weeks because I was such a busy bee. On March 6th, I was finally meeting him! All excited and nervous, I met him outside of California Pizza Kitchen and the first words out of his mouth were "Catch me outside, how bout dat.." I laughed, charmed by his sense of humor and realized he was as nervous as I was. We had an amazing date, talking nonstop. After that first date we spent as much time as we could together and on March 29th he asked me to be his girlfriend. It didn't take me long to fall for Zach. He possesses every quality a woman would want in a man, and I believe he is literally perfect. Over the course of a year we made many amazing memories and were growing closer everyday. Then on March 31st, 2018, Zach got down on one knee and asked me the most important question he could ask! It still makes me overjoyed to think about to this day!
