It must be fate: Zach & Cate

As much as it pains any big sister to say this...I owe it all to my baby sis!! Zach teased Maggie about her "cute older sister" for a while. We went to see a Sublime cover band in February 2015 and sparks were immediately flying. We spent the next several months getting to know each other, and officially became boyfriend & girlfriend at the end of the summer. Four years later, it still feels like I'm flirting with my crush every time I talk to him.

Zach told me he had some people coming down to the river spot to look at the boat he was trying to sell. We planned to go hang out at Jordan & Harman's afterward, so I went with him. When we got to the river, I figured I'd have to entertain myself for a while while Zach showed the boat, so I walked down to check out the frozen river. I walked back to the camper, impatiently asking Zach when these people would be here. He said "Well, that's the thing....no one is coming to look at the boat." I must admit, my very first feeling was "WHY THE HECK ARE WE DOWN HERE NEXT TO THE FROZEN RIVER IN THE MIDDLE OF WINTER THEN??" (Fortunately, Zach told me there was something in the camper for me before those words actually came out!) I walked into the camper to the apple pie with "MARRY ME?" The waterworks immediately started as I turned around to the love of my life holding the perfect ring.
