Zach and I met while I was going through a very rough time in my life. Not only was he a good friend to me but he was there for my boys as well. .We began spending a lot of time together, from golfing, to hiking, he even got me to skate for the first time since I was a kid! He stole my heart the minute he said hello and we have enjoyed every moment together. Being with one another has helped us to realize just how much we are meant to be. We have grown as individuals, as a couple and as an amazing family. He has become an amazing father figure to our boys and daughter, and we cherish every memory we have shared and will continue to share.
Zach and I hardly ever go out alone because we are parents of three but this day he asked his mother to watch the three kids, I was excited to spend some time alone with him. We had spent the morning hiking with the kids and I was still in my hiking clothes so Zach took me to the store to pick out some new sandals and a new outfit. Little did I know while I was busy shopping he was texting with my family and nervously waiting for my dad to say he could ask for my hand in marriage. After shopping we went for a nice dinner to Davinci's an Italian restaurant which was amazing. Zach seemed a little off but I thought maybe it was because we never have a night without the kids! I think he drank about 6 glasses of water, lol! We enjoyed an amazing meal together and after dessert came the check. We always talked about the tip we will leave the waitress and when I asked him how much he left for her, he said I'm not sure hunny why dont you check for me and see. When I opened the check book there was a ring inside of it and well he asked me if I would marry him. Ofcourse I cried and said yes! I will never forget how nervous he must of been and just how sweet he was it helped that the ring he picked out was beautiful.
