What she says: It all started on the pickleball courts- boy notices girl style. When Kaleigh and Jake arrived to watch me play, with confidence and a smile, I waved back to them, only to realize they were waving right past me- to Zach. Very embarrassed, we were introduced. I would never forget that moment. Months went by before we would see each other again, but we didn't forget one another. I decided to shoot my shot with a simple Instagram DM: "We should get a drink sometime." That message turned into two years of dating and falling in love. Now it's time we say, "I do!" What he says: So there I was, playing pickleball with my buddy, Scott, and a couple of girl friends when this woman in a green tennis dress walks onto the court. I instantly knew I had to talk to this woman and ask her for her number or something. She is just so... wow. So I went up and said "hi" and introduced myself, however I don't think she really went for it and I chickened out and didn't ask her for her number. Luckily for me, her cousin Kaleigh and her now husband Jake showed up and through talking to them, I think she got the idea that I was alright. Now Scott and I have a friendly game going, HOWEVER I didn't get this Casie girl's number. So Scott and I proceeded to go to Pullman Yards every Sunday morning to play pickleball and every time I would say that I'm going to ask this girl for her number. News flash, Casie didn't play every Sunday. Most Sundays I spent digging myself out of the hole that Scott put me in to make it competitive and was just about to overtake him and then he "got too busy," but I digress. For whatever reason, whenever I saw Casie, I was just so nervous I couldn't ask her for her number. One day, before Scott "got busy," I told him I was asking her for her number. Wellllll for the mistake of thinking she was dating someone else, it didn't happen that day and I didn't see her for a while.... Until one day I get an Instagram message. Guess who slides into who's dm's?? It was Casie and the rest, as they say, is history. Thank you so much for sharing in our special day, as we make one man's daydream (while playing pickleball at Pullman Yards) come true.
