While we adore your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration so hopefully everyone can relax and enjoy the evening! However, children ARE welcome at events outside of the ceremony and reception. We completely understand this may require extra planning, so if you'll be bringing your family to town, we've provided a trusted local childcare option to help make things easier: https://www.jacksonholenannies.com/
If there is a dress code, it will be listed under each event on the schedule tab. We encourage everyone to embrace their inner cowboy or cowgirl throughout the weekend, but it's not required. Here's a guide to help you dress for each event: Western Formal (Ceremony & Reception): For Women: Think elevated cowboy chic-- flowing dresses, heels or polished boots, and western-inspired accessories like a belt buckle, statement jewelry, or a cowboy hat if desired. Layers or wraps are recommended for Wyoming's cooler evening temperatures. For Men: Long-sleeved, collared, button-down shirts with a jacket and slacks are perfect. Polished shoes or boots and accessories like a bolo ties, belt buckle, or cowboy hat add a western touch. Please, no khakis. Cowboy Cocktail (Rehearsal Dinner & Welcome Party): For Women: Dresses or skirts paired with boots or heels. Layers like a light jacket or shawl are recommended for the cooler Wyoming evenings. Accessories like a belt buckle, scarf, or cowboy hat are encouraged but optional. For Men: Nice slacks or dark jeans with a button-down shirt are perfect. Boots or loafers and optional western touches like a belt buckle and cowboy hat are welcome. Consider sports jacket or layering for the cooler evenings.
Yes, there's parking available at Diamond Cross Ranch if you'd prefer to drive. However, we highly recommend using the transportation we'll be providing to and from downtown Jackson. It's about a 40-minute drive each way, and Wyoming roads at night can bring a few surprises-- from wildlife to changing weather. The shuttles will make sure everyone gets back safely after a great night, plus the bride and groom will be riding the shuttle back as well! :) We'll share detailed transportation information closer to the wedding date.
Yes! If you head over to the schedule tab, all events will be listed with their details. We will be updating this as plans are made so be sure to check back closer to the date! :)
We're so excited to celebrate with our nearest and dearest under the Wyoming sky! To keep our celebration intimate, we're only able to accommodate the guests listed on your invitation. If your invitation includes a plus one, you'll see that noted on your RSVP.
Cell service in and around Jackson is generally reliable, but it can get spotty once you're inside Grand Teton or Yellowstone National Park-- or in remote mountain areas. We recommend downloading maps, playlists, and anything you'll need for the drive ahead of time, just in case your service drops. Consider it part of the adventure-- unplug and take in the beautiful views! :)
Absolutely! Please reach out to the bride or groom and let them know as soon as possible so we can alert the catering team and make sure your meal is safe and enjoyable. :)
In September, the days will be mild - anywhere from 60-70 degrees, and the nights will be much cooler. Expect the temperature to drop as soon as the sun goes down and be sure to have a layer to keep you warm during the evening!
As long as you are near the vicinity of town square, everything is flat and walkable and very pedestrian-friendly. Snow King Hotel will be located the "farthest" away from the square, at a 15-20 minute walk to the antler arches. Cabs and taxis are readily available and easy to book if you did not rent a car!
You can get a map of the town of Jackson from any hotel and likely many restaurants. This is not only a wonderful keepsake, but also the best tool to explore the town to the fullest. Take it to the front desk and ask them to circle their favorite spots!
