The Brewing Lair
The brewery is located on a 15-acre plot and includes two ping pong tables, cornhole, a slack line, hula hoops and a 9-hole disc golf course, among other things. There's plenty of seating plus a grassy area to hang out on.
Frazier Falls
On Highway 89, you'll turn onto Gold Lake Highway and then to Frazier Falls Road. It's then a 4-mile drive on a one-way road that serves two-way traffic (just take it slow and you'll be fine). That takes you directly to the Frazier Falls trailhead, which is honestly more of a walk than a hike. The whole path is flat and paved and is less than a mile to get to the end where you'll find Frazier Falls, which sits above 6,000 feet and has a waterfall height of 176 feet. The waterfall has glacial origins and trickles out of Frazier Creek down a granite landscape of rocks.
Lakes Basin Recreation Area
Located at an altitude of over 8,000 feet, Lakes Basin Recreation Area is a stunning and vast expanse of natural beauty. Visitors to the area can indulge in a wide range of outdoor activities, including hiking, mountain biking, fishing, camping, and much more.
Fishing in the Feather River
One of the most popular activities in the area is fishing. With numerous lakes and streams in the vicinity, Graeagle is a paradise for fishing enthusiasts. One of the best places to fish in Graeagle is the Feather River. The river is known for its abundance of trout, and is a popular spot for fly fishing. Visitors can hire a guide or go on their own. Some of the best spots for fishing in the Feather River can be found near the mouth of Mohawk Creek and in the Indian Valley.
Graeagle Stables
Experience custom-designed guided horseback adventures and ride through the spectacular Lakes Basin or above the small resorts of Graeagle, CA. There are two horse stables in the Sierra; Gold Lake and Graeagle.
Golfing
Graeagle boasts several golf courses including the Graeagle Meadows Golf Course, Plumas Pines Golf Course, Whitehawk Ranch, The Grizzly, and our venue The Dragon at Nakoma (better bring your A game).
