Best friend since 6th grade! Shout out to softball for bringing us together. Haley and her family couldn't get rid of me from middle school to high school. I think we tried to set a record for how many days in a row I could stay with them. Haley has seen me at my best and worst and loved me the same. She is one of those friends that knows what you need even when you don't know it yourself (including sale items on Amazon). One of the sweetest and most thoughtful humans I have ever met!

A literal bright ray of sunshine. I met Ati in middle school and we have been best friends ever since. Definitely "The Mom" of our friend group because of her selfless, reliable, and caring personality. She consistently reacts and responds to all silly reels and TikToks I send her (which is rare these days). Atiana and The Waters family have been so kind and generous to me throughout my whole life, and for that I am forever grateful!

Best friend since 5th grade! I can still remember the day that Syd moved here and showed up at school. Even though we had slightly different hobbies, we still had a lot of common interest. Including being obsessed with baking/food shows. We were convinced that we were going to open up a bakery together (still TBD) but we got to work a summer job together at a Pie Shop, so that counts right?? Even though Syd lives states away in Kentucky now, we have kept our friendship alive thanks to technology and yearly girls trips. So thankful for "Squid" and her neverending kindness, creativity, and honesty.

My Grad School Survival Guide and ex-roomie! Even though grad school was brutal, I am so glad I did it because I met you! From letting me crash at your place to save me a 45 minute commute back home to letting be draw your blood the first week I met you, we went through a lot but survived because we had each other and Frank the Corgi (and Mike). Bailey should also win an award for cleanest most considerate roommate for living with me during my first two years of teaching. A true angel. Your spontaneity, generosity and loyalty are truly inspirational. Everyone needs a friend like Bailey!

Peyton: college teammate, All American Shortstop , and roomie. Again, a one of a kind friend who happened to be my throwing partner. We got so close that we would even fight like siblings... sometimes... Thank you for waking me up for 5am weights when I overslept and always keeping me entertained while studying for all our Kinesiology classes including 8am Walking for Fitness. Thanks for showing me how to have fun and live a little. I am thankful for all the memories we made in the 1009 and excited for the ones we have yet to make. Love you Pey!
