Jessica has basically been part of my life forever. Her family lived across the street from mine, so we always knew each other, but we didn’t really get close until about seven years ago—once I got a little older and we just clicked better. There’s always been this running joke that she’s “been through the whole family,” but really it’s just because she forms strong friendships. She was best friends with Celeste first, then got really close with Hailey after switching to Porter Ridge. When Hailey left for the military, that’s when everything shifted—and that’s when my friendship with Jessica really started. I still remember the night she randomly texted me to come hop in her car so we could go to Cookout. It was such a simple moment, but it ended up being the start of everything. From then on, we’ve been close ever since.
Makayla Overlin

Makayla has been one of my closest friends for about six years, though we’ve known each other for nearly nine. She started out as my sister Hailey’s friend, and I’d tag along whenever Hailey decided to let me join them—but somewhere along the way, the three of us just clicked. When Hailey left for the military, Makayla and I grew even closer, and our friendship really became something special. I love her to death and feel so lucky to have her in my life.

Celeste is the most loving, kind-hearted person I know. She would do anything for anyone—even when she doesn’t have much to give. We’ve shared so many memories just being goofy sisters together, and I truly wouldn’t trade that for anything… even though she still knows exactly how to get on my nerves.
Hailey Ollice

Hailey is one of the most kind-hearted and funniest people I know. We’ve made so many memories together over the years, especially since we’ve always shared the same friend group. Somehow we can go from laughing so hard we can’t breathe to arguing over absolutely nothing in less than five minutes, but that’s just us. Growing up together means she knows every embarrassing story, every bad phase. Hailey is the kind of person who will make everyone around her laugh, and somehow turn even the most random moments into memories I’ll never forget.
