All good stories start with a few drinks right? Drinking with Katie Thompson (now Svennes) and she took my phone to look at some photos we had just taken. Without my knowledge she made me a Bumble account and showed me as she handed my phone back. I was far less than pleased and wanted to delete it; however she asked me to give it a chance and message 3 people by the end of the night. While swiping people left and right, a gorgeous pooch caught my eye. See the photo below. The dog was adorable and the guy was alright too. *Swipe right* Then it came time to message 3 people to satiate Katie so I could delete the app the next day. After about 7 rum and cokes my brain reminded me "She never said WHAT to message them..." The message read: "You're sitting on the toilet and you have 2 options to wipe with, would you rather wipe with sandpaper or saran wrap?". Somehow that lead to our first date on New Years Day 2019. The rest is history and on May 22nd, 2021 we will be the beginning of the rest of our lives :) I do have to admit, I felt a little catfished because the dog, Hermione, wasn't his.... It is his brother & sister's (Chris and Becca). I am just happy she is in the family <3
