We met like many other couples do in modern day romance, on a dating app. Zach had reached out to me and we talked about fishing and hunting and many other things. I had mentioned that I needed new fishing gear, he offered to drive all the way down to Owatonna and meet me at Cabela's, that was our first date. Zach would tell you that it was super awkward at first because I didn't talk much, until I got comfortable enough then I turned into a chatter box. What was supposed to be a couple hours turned into 8 hours. Neither one of us really wanted to say goodbye. I knew I loved him after several weeks of talking and seeing each other, Zach felt the same way. We shared our hopes, dreams, fears, and pasts. He would sit and simply listen to me yap about the most random things when I would go for my walks around sunset. We would send each other songs that reminded us of one another. During the summer time Zach told me he would be busy most weekends working on the farm, and I jumped at the opportunity to help. He would trim trees and trim around tree stands, I would move the branches out of the way (he wouldn't trust me with a chainsaw, understandably so lol). He would tell me that I didn't have to do anything, but I simply loved helping him and spending time with him. We love spending time with one another, whether it be just watching TV and not talking or we're sending silly videos from TikTok and laughing together. My favorite thing is being able to get Zach to laugh so hard that he sounds like wheezy from Toy Story 2 (to be fair I snort when he makes me laugh hard enough). We are so excited to be spending the rest of our lives together, and as all of you know we are expecting in March, our little girl will be apart of our big day and we couldn't be or feel more blessed. We'll see you all October 17th, 2026
