Things to Do, Places to Eat (& Drink)

There is so much to do in Walla Walla! From incredible wineries, to fantastic restaurants, cute shops, and lots of beautiful places to walk and hike, there are all kinds of things in town for you to make your weekend with us even better. These are just a few of our favorite things.

The Maple Counter Cafe

209 East Alder Street, Walla Walla, WA 99362

The best breakfast in town! It gets really busy on the weekends so we recommend putting your name in and then taking a walk down the block to Colville Street Patisserie for a latte (and a pastry appetizer) before brunch.

Bennington Lake

WA 99362

One of our favorite places to take Murphy to walk and get some fresh air. There are a handful of trails to choose from all with a beautiful view of the blues and the reservoir.

Dunham Cellars

150 East Boeing Avenue, Walla Walla, WA 99362

Alie is a proud member of the winemaking team and recommends a tasting in the quaint courtyard.

KINHAVEN Winery & Vineyard

1050 Merlot Drive, Walla Walla, WA 99362

Our beautiful venue! And one of the most special wineries in Walla Walla (we're biased since Alie worked here for two of the best years!) Delicious wines for every palette.

Five Dollar Ranch Brewing Company

1570 Beet Road, Walla Walla, WA 99362

Our go-to stop for a beer after work or on a sunny afternoon. You can't go wrong with any of Josh's beers, but especially the Goat Candy. Check back in the spring as he is building a convenient new brewery space on the south side of Walla Walla!

Tacos La Monarca

901 West Rose Street, Walla Walla, WA 99362

A highly debated topic, but one of our top votes for best mexican food in Walla Walla!

Graze 'a Place To Eat'

5 South Colville Street, Walla Walla, WA 99362

One of our go to lunch stops, great for a picnic or a quick lunch downtown. Try the veggie torta (Alie's favorite), or the Steak Banh-mi (Zach's go-to).

Whitman Mission National Historic Site

328 Whitman Mission Road, Walla Walla, WA 99362

One of our other favorite spots for a nice walk, we took some of our engagement photos here on a beautiful early spring day! Make sure you walk up to the top of the monument for a beautiful view of the valley.

Passatempo Taverna

215 West Main Street, Walla Walla, WA 99362

This is our favorite date-night spot! Sit at the bar for a craft cocktail or carefully selected glass of wine and focaccia, or get a bowl of cacio e pepe and some tiramisu to go (Alie loves to save it for breakfast the next morning).
