We first met all the way back in high school English in 2007, but neither of us had any idea of what an important meeting it was. Mere acquaintances throughout college, we became fast friends as we bumped into each other time and again on 6th Street. After a brief attempt at dating, we went our separate ways for a while, with Alli moving to Prague, and me focusing on my career and hobbies. In 2016, all of that changed when I visited Alli in Prague during a sabbatical from work. I’m typically not one for expensive souvenirs, but I wound up spending my flight home thinking about how to declare “my future wife” on a US customs form. We have been inseparable in the years since that trip, building a happy home and a solid foundation for our future. We are both so excited to go on this journey together, and look forward to many more adventures to come!
