The Proposal

As told by the groom

On a winter's afternoon in Cascade, I took Tiffany snowshoeing and planned to summit a foothill to pop the question. As luck would have it, they were logging the hill in question, so I had to improvise. I knew of a nice wooded area opening up to a giant snowy meadow with the mountains in the background. I hightailed it to the location leaving Tiff behind, but her cries for me to slow down were met with me booking it to the location to set up shop. I hid a bottle of champagne in the powder, and anxiously awaited her arrival. Once there, she educated me on how sweaty she was, and at that point I knew it was go time. I pretended to adjust her snowshoes, and while on one knee I pulled out the ring. Her first reaction was a guttural "nooooo," but that was a no of shock and awe, not worst case scenario :) At that point she popped the bottle, and ever since we have been overly excited for the next steps of great things to come.

For all the days along the way
