We met in a fancy restaurant in Stevens Point called Upper Debot. Introduced by mutual friends, we sat next to each other at dinner and haven't stopped talking since.
Zach told me we were going on a walk in Allen Centennial Garden in Madison, WI. I teasingly asked Zach if he was going to propose to me here, and he just shook his head. I of course wanted to stop and read every sign in the garden, but Zach had other plans, rushing me along. We came upon a red bridge with rose petals and candles lining the railings and I still did not believe this was planned for me. In the center of the bridge, Zach got down on one knee and asked me to marry him, to which I promptly sobbed uncontrollably.
