Maid of Honor
Irene is as sweet as a tangerine, she is also very calm and serene. Both she and I bond over things like caffeine and we both love dressing up on Halloween. I am blessed to have a sister like Irene who is selfless and an empathetic being. We are not able to choose our family but I am EXTREMELY fortunate to call this lovely lady my dearest little sister.
Best Man
I’ve known Jon since our Webb days when we first butted heads (literally!) our sophomore year on the wrestling team. We made it through boarding school together and never lost touch, always making time to nerd out, do crazy acrobatics, and help each other navigate college and our 20s. He's always been there to help me stay humble and think about the world differently, and he's of the most genuine human beings you'll ever meet.
Bridesmaid
In middle school Thu Thao was always the friendly face that displayed a smile. She, from a young age has a had a very trendy fashion sense. Thu Thao is not only a beautiful person on the outside but her heart reflects that as well. I appreciate her empathetic nature as she has been a shoulder I have leaned on during some of my trying moments.
Groomsman
The other half of “Zick and Nack,” we've known each other since Pre-K when we both had big hair mops. He and his family have pretty much been my second family ever since. We always stayed close and hung out whenever I was back in town for school breaks, and then when I moved back to the desert to teach. We always had some of our best memories on New Year's -- and occasionally drove his wife Meghan nuts! Proud dad to my goddaughter Eve.
Bridesmaid
Trang and I met in elementary school. From a young age Trang has been a social butterfly as well as the brains in this organization I refer to as our friendship. Trang is also quite humorous, April Fools is an anticipated day for her to reach out to her group of closest friends including me. In the end after we all figure out her elaborate pranks she always manages to make my cheeks hurt from laughing. Trang will always bring a smile to your face.
Groomsman
I’ve known Chad since grade school but we got to be really close working together on the football staff at Xavier. We had a lot of long days and nights trying our best to figure out how to be great coaches and teachers—and we managed to have a lot of fun along the way. He could be a stunt double for Andrew Luck...and he almost broke my face throwing a football once. Proud dad to my godson Easton.
Bridesmaid
Kelly is Zach's beautiful younger sister. She is an artistic soul and quite the chef. Kelly makes meals that should be in Home and Gardens Magazine but also knows the best Italian restaurants in Vegas. Soon enough, I am excited to announce Kelly will be my sister-in-law.
Groomsman
Chad and I first met Nick when we worked with his wife Ashley at Xavier, then he started teaching and coaching with us as well. Nick and I bonded through our love of all things sports, human performance, craft beers and dad-dancing. He’s a laid-back guy who always knows how to help everyone have a good time.
Bridesmaid
Christie is a chic lady who lives in New York, and she is quite the sophisticated person. She is a writer by trade, she visits the MET (one of my favorite museums), and she makes wicked martinis (I have only heard and can't wait to try them). She is Zach's youngest sister as well as my soon to be sister-in-law.
Groomsman
First met Jason at Masimo where I work now. We bonded over the Golden State Warriors, similar experiences growing up and a desire to "make everybody feel like a somebody." One of the smoothest dancers I've ever met with Bay Area flair, and a man with a heart for God unlike anyone else I’ve met in my life.
Bridesmaid
Natalie and I met in first grade, we have know each other for a very long time. Natalie has a very bubbly, positive, and kind personality. She loves to bake and hosts delicious fourth of July barbecues. Natalie will always make you feel welcomed.
Groomsman
Also met Dean at Masimo. I got to watch him grow on his journey to Christ and I’m grateful for how he’s helped me grow on my own walk. A thoughtful man who still finds time to keep you guessing with his deadpan humor and pranks. He has a mean fadeaway that would make Kobe proud.
