The conversation somehow landed on animals, and Zac began telling a story about a friend who had lost a very cute cat named Tucna while house-sitting for his close friends. As an animal lover, Megan was immediately invested in a cat she had never met. Had Tucna been found?! Was she safe?! She needed answers. Zac’s response? Silence… for a few days. To be fair, he had a decent excuse—he was on a golf trip. After a few days without an answer—and still thinking about a cat she had never met—Megan followed up. At this point, she simply needed closure. Zac finally responded with the news Megan had been hoping for: Tucna had been safely found in a neighbor’s garage. Crisis averted. And, not long after, he asked Megan out to dinner the following week. Megan said yes—relieved about Tucna, and curious about Zac. The rest is history. (And Megan has since met Tucna).
