Bridesmaid
Dra and I have known each other since freshman year of college. Since the first day we met, it was an instant bond. Sometimes we wouldn't see each other for months in college, but we would always pick up where we left off. We still are able to talk for hours and hours. She has been my rock and someone I am always able to count on for good advice. Thanks for being my greatest confidant!
Bridesmaid
Anna and I met at Casa Bernabe 5 years ago. She is always up for anything, whether we're rolling down hills, vintage shopping, road trips to random amusement parks, or a trip to Guatemala. You never know what's going to happen with Anna Banana. Thanks for being my adventure buddy!
Bridesmaid
I met Gabriella or Gabba Gabba, as I like to call her, 5 years ago at Casa Bernabe. She is my reality check, always willing to tell me like it is. That's what I appreciate most about her. We have had a long distance friendship for a few years now. She flies to Dallas or I fly to Los Angeles or we just meet in Guatemala, but no matter what we make time for each other. Thanks for being my ray of sunshine!
Bridesmaid
Jaclyn and I met 3 years ago, when I visited her classroom looking for a job. It was all uphill from there. Surprisingly enough, she vouched for me and we now get to teach second grade together. Even more surprising is that I met her mom before I met her and we didn't put together until a few months later. It has been a couple crazy years of teaching together, but I wouldn't change it for the world. Thanks for keeping me sane on the daily!
Bridesmaid
Kathryn and I met freshman year of college. She was my suite mate and one of my first friends in college. We have had many memories since then. We have gone on road trips to random cities and stayed with Jaclyn's mom (there's a story there), had my car towed, tried eating lobster with the head still on, etc. Kathryn is beyond a doubt one of the smartest people I know and also one of the kindest. I don't think she's ever said an unkind word about anyone. She always knows how to make you laugh and is continuously lifting you up. Thank you for being my biggest fan!
Bridesmaid
Nicole and I met through Zac, but we soon realized that we have to be long lost sisters. She and I have so many things in common that it was easy to see that we must've been separated at birth. We both love traveling, working with children, doing mission work, etc. It is so nice to have so many areas of your life in common with another friend. Thank you for being my kindred spirit!
Bridesmaid
Samara and I met 2 years ago when she was the "new kid" to our school. Samara always says how thankful she was that I walked up to her on her first day and invited her to have lunch with us, but I am the one that has been blessed tenfold. She acts like she is my big sister and always makes sure I have basic necessities like food and furniture. She is my biggest supporter and the best person to vent to. Thanks for always having my back!
Matron of Honor
Susan and I met sophomore year of high school and she is my oldest and dearest friend. We quickly bonded over art, music and food. Three things that have gotten us through the past 10 years. Susan has put up with all of my awkward stages and life just wouldn't be the same without Susie Poo. Thanks for being my life long friend!
Bridesmaid
Stephanie and I first met 5 years ago at Casa Bernabe Orphanage. I like to refer to her as Momma Schroeder even though she's a few years younger than me. She is always taking care of me, especially when we first met. She goes above and beyond for anyone she considers a friend and I don't know where I would be without her. Thank you for always taking care of me!
Honorary Bridesmaid
Vanessa is our little sister! When we first got engaged she said, "After Zac and Kyla, I am the most excited person for this wedding." She is our biggest cheerleader and is always willing to help Kyla tease Zac. We are so happy to be able to have her be a part of our big day.
Groomsman
All I knew about him initially was that he was a smart guy that worked for the FBI... As I've gotten to know him a bit more though, he's become much less mysterious. I am excited to have a new brother and look forward to learning more from his wealth of knowledge.
Groomsman
All I knew about Daniel before I began dating Kyla was that he was a chess wizard. Since hanging out with him though, I have found that we have many similar interests and character traits... to the point that Kyla sometimes laments the fact that I am just like him. Nevertheless, I'm excited to gain a great new brother, especially given his fantastic sense of humor and kindred spirit.
Groomsman
Darren is a great friend of mine who I've always felt a distinct connection with. Whether it is an intellectual discussion, rebuilding a transmission, shooting skeet, or going kayaking, Darren is a great guy to have along and makes everything more enjoyable.
Best Man
As my older brother, Devon and I's relationship appears to revolve around sarcasm, witty comebacks, and pseudo-intellectualism, but at its core is a strong friendship, a healthy sense of fraternity, and still a good deal of sarcastic remarks. He's irreplaceable and I'm very happy to have him joining me as my best man.
Groomsman
Ethan has been a fun companion and great sport growing up with me as his big brother. From the time I tried to teach him fractions as a kindergartner to the days of exhausting bike rides and acting like a ninja with me, he's always been a great sport and I'm glad he can join me once again for this next big adventure.
Groomsman
My man Miklo... Words don't go far enough to describe our relationship. As one of my best friends for 10 years, he's been with me through thick and thin. Chasing hogs with shotguns, shooting nails through air hoses, and crashing a dirt-bike haven't always been our brightest moments, but they sure did make unforgettable memories. I can't imagine my wedding day without having Miklo up there with me.
Usher
Shea is one of Kyla's little brothers and it has been an honor watching him grow up. He has always had a big heart and you can usually find him taking care of those around him. Thank you for being a great little brother and for being a part of our big day!
Usher
Chantry is also one of Kyla's little brothers and it has also been an honor watching him grow up. He is a quiet soul, but once you get to know him, you will find that he is one of the kindest young men that you will ever meet. Thank you for also being a great little brother and for being a part of our big day!
