On Thursday, Friday, and Sunday, regularly scheduled Wauwinet shuttles will run between The Wauwinet and the Nantucket Information Bureau (25 Federal Street), which is a great option for guests to explore both sides of the island. These complimentary shuttles depart at the top of the hour (e.g., 12pm) from the Nantucket Information Bureau (25 Federal Avenue) . They depart from The Wauwinet on the half-hour. Please see the Schedule for event-specific transportation. We recommend Uber/Lyft for transportation to and from the airport. Uber/Lyft are regularly available options for traveling from town to The Wauwinet as well.
Nantucket's airport ("ACK") is conveniently serviced by JetBlue and Delta. JetBlue and Delta both offer direct flights from Westchester County Airport in New York, New York City and Boston Logan to Nantucket. If flying, we HIGHLY recommend that guests fly with one of these large commercial airlines. We do not recommend flying Cape Air as those are very small propeller planes, and travelers often experience issues with their luggage not making it onto Nantucket. Another option potentially convenient for our New England guests is to take a ferry from New Bedford, MA or Hyannis, MA. Hyannis, MA is the larger hub for Nantucket ferries and is closer to Boston, MA. More details about ferry options can be found here: https://www.nantucketferries.com/
For our ceremony and reception, we kindly ask our guests to honor our Black Tie dress code. For our guests who would like to rent a tuxedo, there are many options! Men’s Warehouse is an option for those who have locations near them. Also, Zachary has organized this link where guests can rent a tuxedo online through Generation Tux: https://gentux.me/36pxgp. Please feel free to reach out with any questions!
