Looking back, it truly is amazing how God guides you to make all of the right decisions in life. I almost chose another college, yet God led me to Clemson. I was skeptical of joining a sorority, but God gave me a twin named Lauren. I almost stayed at home on Saturday, March 5th, but God had other plans. If it wasn't for that beautiful Saturday in Clemson with Lauren, I never would have met the love of my life. I thank God everyday for leading me to Zac and I can't wait to see what he has in store for us as Mr. & Mrs. Smith!
Zac surprised me with a fancy dinner for our "One Year & Four Months" although this was not something we would normally celebrate. He informed me I had a total of 45 minutes after work to get ready and make it to Halls Chophouse on time because there were no other reservations available. Of course I needed to shower and freshen up but he insisted I didn't have time. In the middle of dinner with half the food left on my plate, Zac asked the waitress for our bill. I was a caught off guard as he would never normally do this and I asked if we were in some sort of a hurry. He insisted we not miss the sunset on the Liberty Bridge at Falls Park so we needed to go. When we got to the bridge he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him and of course I said YES!
