We’re getting married!

Tyler and I met at our mutual friend’s birthday party in Bowling Green, Ohio. It took a few hours until we hit it off but we’ve been attached by the hip since then. We simultaneously became each other’s best friends and life partners. From graduating college to starting new careers, we’ve been through so much together in the last 5 years. We love watching sports, trying new foods, and traveling together. We became engaged on April 13th, 2021 in Cocoa Beach and are so excited to become husband and wife! We are settled in Bryan, Ohio where Tyler works as a deputy for the Williams County Sheriff’s Office and I work as licensed nursing home administrator in Montpelier, Ohio.

In April 2021, Tyler and I took a vacation to Florida. We did a lot of things such as going to Universal Studios, Disney World, the Kennedy Space Museum and getting to see a wonderful friend from college. We ended up making two trips to Cocoa Beach. The first time, we stayed for a while until the weather took a turn for the worst and a storm was coming. Tyler was insistent on staying and I was very ready to leave. All of the sudden, the rain came and completely drenched us. We had an hour and half drive back to the hotel in very damp clothes. The 2nd trip to Cocoa Beach was significantly better. We found a beautiful area to sit and the weather was perfect. As we were leaving the beach, Tyler had me watch of a video. It was Jerry from Parks and Recreation talking to me in character. Towards the end of the video, I turned to Tyler who was on one knee. He proposed and it was one of the greatest days of my life. We are so excited to become husband and wife. ❤️
