Yvette and Chris first crossed paths in 2014 at the University of California, Merced, during a pickup soccer game. They were immediately drawn to each other, so Chris took his shot and called out, “Hey you… mmm girl, wanna join our team?” Without missing a beat, Yvette fired back, “Ugh, ‘Girl’ has a name—Yvette. And yes, I’ll join your team.” That playful exchange marked the beginning of something special. They continued to see each other at soccer games, sharing lighthearted interactions, but nothing serious blossomed—until October 2015. That’s when Chris sent Yvette a simple text, and suddenly her world was filled with butterflies. Their first dates were sweet and memorable, from a classic college dinner at Applebee’s to their favorite—strolling along Yosemite Lake late in the evening. On one unforgettable night, under a sky lit with shooting stars, they both felt as though the universe itself was blessing the start of their love story. Life took them on a journey of growth and dedication to their careers, eventually bringing them both to the Bay Area. In 2022, they took the next step and moved in together, building a home filled with laughter, love, and faith. En una noche especial, bajo un cielo iluminado por estrellas fugaces, ambos sintieron como si el universo mismo estuviera bendiciendo el inicio de su historia de amor. La vida los llevó por un camino de crecimiento y dedicación a sus carreras, que eventualmente los trajo a ambos al Área de la Bahía.
