Question

How are you ensuring the safety and health of guests throughout the wedding?

Answer

At this time, wearing masks are optional throughout the wedding activities. In case guests feel unwell upon arrival at the wedding and would like to take extra precaution, we will have a few COVID test kits available to distribute. If you are feeling sick or unwell in the days leading up to the wedding, we ask that you contact us directly. In the situation that there is another COVID-19 outbreak, we will be sure to communicate to guests directly on updates to the wedding.

What date and time should we arrive?

Answer

We recommend guests to arrive on Friday, May 6th, which is the day before the wedding. For those who arrive that day, we will be hosting a welcome reception from 7 PM to 10 PM for guests to meet, mingle, and grab some drinks. We understand that not everyone can take Friday off due to school / work so arriving Saturday to join our ceremony is acceptable as well.

When should we RSVP by?

Answer

We will be sending out the official invitation letters with the complete schedule late January. We ask all guests to RSVP on this website by February 28th, 2022 so that we can make proper arrangements.

How do we get to the wedding?

Answer

The hotel is located in Laguna Beach, which part of Orange County, south of Los Angeles. We highly recommend you to fly to John Wayne Airport (SNA) if possible for shorter trip but there are also more flights to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). If you are coming from SNA and plan to stay around Laguna Beach the whole time, we recommend taking Uber / Lyft / Taxi (~20 min / $40). If you are coming from LAX, we recommend renting a car (~$50/day) or booking a direct shuttle service (e.g., ~$150 for 2 pax). We highly recommend you coordinate with other guests to save on transportation. If you arrive on Thursday or early Friday, you can also reach out to us to see if we can pick you up directly.

Which hotel should we stay at?

Answer

The wedding will be held at the Surf and Sand Resort in Laguna Beach. We have reserved a discounted limited room block for a rate of $365 / room / day for the nights of May 6th and May 7th. Guests taking advantage of this room block do need to book for both days. For those who prefer to stay in a different hotel, there are also other hotels and Airbnbs available in Laguna Beach and the surrounding Orange County area (e.g., Irvine, Newport Beach, Huntington Beach).

Can I attend the post-wedding brunch if I live off-site?

Answer

Yes, the post-wedding breakfast is available for all guests. However, to help us make accommodations, please make sure to RSVP to this breakfast by February 28th, 2022.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

For the welcome reception on Friday, May 6th, the dress code will be beach casual. For the wedding ceremony and dinner on Saturday, May 7th, the dress code will be semi-formal but we ask that you do not wear red. For the wedding, we suggest you bring sunglasses and/or hat in case of direct sunlight.

Any color will be ok except red.

Will the events be held indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The welcome reception, ceremony, and post-wedding breakfast will be held outdoors. The wedding reception / dinner will be held indoors.

What time does the ceremony begin?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 6:00 PM on May 7th. We kindly ask guests to arrive 15 minutes prior to mingle and find their seats.

Do you have a registry?

Answer

No, we ask that you do not buy us any gifts. We are just happy you are attending our wedding.
