Two becoming One

Whenever I need time with God, I go to Minnehaha Falls. Last summer I had an amazing experience sitting on a rock along the stream of water just waiting to hear from God. I was in my zone, with my headphones on and was captivated just looking at the water run and hitting the rocks underneath, when all of the sudden, I saw Jesus sitting right next to me; I didn't see his face, but I knew it was him, he had on his white long beautiful tunic, with his feet hanging just like me. I wanted to stay in that moment forever, I didn't want to leave that rock, but he said to me " Go on my child, I am with you wherever you go." So, I got up, and stared walking away, I could not help but to look back as I was walking away, wishing I could stay in that moment forever. I went home and told my babe (Ryan) all about it. Well, on October 20th, we went to the Falls; it was his first time there, so we walked down to the rock where I saw Jesus sitting next to me. We sat at the exact place, and my babe began to pray for us, and asked God to protect our marriage. At that moment he let go of me, and in my mind, I was wondering why he said “marriage,” as I turned around wondering why he had let go of me, he was on one knee, and asked me to marry him! Not, like we needed confirmation, but God was there with us at OUR rock now! We were both meant for each other, and God made us wait to meet until he molded us to fit together. I prayed for a man after God's own heart, and he prayed for a Godly women, and 30 some years later, here we are! Wait on the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart!
