Christopher (Kit) and Yuri first met their senior year of high school during a college visit to Trinity Christian College. A simple hello turned into lively conversation. They bonded over being on the swim team and their shared love for art. By the end of the weekend, they exchanged numbers and returned to their separate worlds, Kit to Pittsburgh and Yuri to Chicago. Months later, Yuri attended another campus tour where she joined two kind parents, only to later learn they were Kit’s parents (her future in-laws). Soon after, she and Kit ran into each other again and discovered they had both committed to Trinity. Then the world changed when COVID arrived. Through countless texts during lockdown, they shared their hopes, fears, and laughter, unknowingly laying the foundation for something lasting. When campus reopened, they spent hours walking the neighborhood, simply enjoying each other’s presence. In that quiet season, God reminded them that even in uncertainty, His faithfulness and love never change. "We are beyond excited to start our journey as a new family, pouring into our communities and to continue to chase God's heart. We love you all, and can't wait to celebrate this new chapter in our lives." – Kit & Yuri
