It all started in Buffalo at the Cafe Amore poetry night. There was a lot of great conversation before the poetry began but sparks really flew when the first poem called “an ode to seasonal depression in Buffalo” was read and the two looked at each other and quietly laughed and smiled at each other, promising to talk about this moment later on. After their first date lasted three hours, and each date after that did too, they quickly realized that they had found an amazing connection. Whether it was bonding over video games and movies or surviving their first time being lost in NYC together, things moved fast—and they both agreed that this just felt right. Now, they’re thrilled to be tying the knot in Buffalo at Avanti Mansion on October 5th, 2025 surrounded by the people who saw it all unfold (or found out after the fact). Bring your sense of humor, dancing shoes, an empty stomach—and maybe some tissues. It’s going to be a great party!
