Andy and Yuli first met in 2015 on a movie date in Miami Lakes. According to Andy, they watched a movie about segregation — though, honestly, Yuli has no memory of that part (which still makes them both laugh to this day). It’s funny how the same moment can be remembered so differently — but that’s what makes looking back even more special. Over the years, they stayed connected through social media, occasionally interacting here and there, never knowing what the future had in store. Then, in October of last year, something shifted. Yuli posted a photo of her working out, and Andy — ever the fitness enthusiast — couldn’t help but slide into her DMs with a casual “you’re looking lean.” That message sparked a conversation, which led to Andy inviting Yuli to do a CrossFit workout together. The workout day came, and it couldn’t have gone better. From then on, they kept talking — and the connection just flowed. There was no forcing anything. It felt easy, natural, and right. A major milestone came when Yuli’s son, Lucas, met Andy — and instantly connected with him. Lucas loving Andy meant everything to Yuli, and watching them bond only deepened her feelings. Fast forward to August 15th, 2025 — with the help of Yuli’s best friend Alejandra, Andy planned the perfect proposal at Playa Largo Resort & Spa. As the sun set over the water, Andy got down on one knee on the dock — intimate, romantic, and exactly as Yuli had envisioned.
