We are hippies at our core, and we wanted our wedding to reflect the values we live by! That means this celebration is also a celebration of all the nature around us. The vendors, venues, and even our clothes were carefully selected to reflect sustainability, zero to low waste, plant-based, and local. Even Yuko's dress was made sustainably (more on that later!). Get ready for a party that's packed will fun and intention, with some earthy vibes.
Please dress comfortably in a relaxed, boho, hippy, beachy style—think presentable but also laid-back. Sandals or being barefoot is fine.
Our wedding ceremony will be a chill and initmate moment that morning in Big Sur. It's going to be low-key, and a little impromptu (no permit, just good vibes!) and mostly for immediate family, but if you're up for an early adventure and want to join us, we'd love to have you there. The real party kicks off that evening with our wedding reception in San Juan Bautista, about an hour's drive away from Big Sur. We'll be celebrating in the beautiful succulent garden at Jardines de San Juan, surrounded by great food, good music, and the BEST company.
Yes, message Robbie so he can email you the instructions.
Food is absolutely a highlight, but this celebration will also be packed with great times. Expect a night full music, with a DJ to keep the dance floor moving and a live band to keep your heads rocking. We also have things like mysterious fortune cookies...we won’t say more, you gotta be there...
Jardines de San Juan holds a special place in our hearts and stomachs. They're known for their generous portions of delicious Mexican food and trust us, some of the best margaritas. They are working with us to create a one-of-a-kind, buffet-style dinner that won't disappoint. Make sure you save room for dessert, as we've teamed up with two amazing local vendors who'll be offering a variety of conchas and donuts at our dessert bar.
We got you! Let us quench your thirst with margaritas, beer, wine, house champagne, cider, iced tea, lemonade, coffee, and water, all on the house! If you want to be fancy, and margaritas aren't your vibe, the bar can make you a nice cocktail, just note that those are cash or credit, and not hosted. Bring a few bucks to treat yourself!
