Please RSVP by 15 April 2024 so we can have an accurate headcount!
The ceremony and reception is at the same location; Cusack’s on the Kenai 34135 KEYSTONE DR. SOLDOTNA, AK 99669
The venue is about a 3 hour drive from Anchorage. So please plan accordingly if you plan to drive out from Anchorage on the day of the wedding. If you’ve never been to Soldotna, we like to suggest you take your time and enjoy the scenic drive as well. A few stops along the way include, Girdwood, Whittier, and Cooper Landing. The drive is beautiful especially during the fall so the scenery will be popping with bright fall colors!
Our wedding ceremony will be outdoors. The reception is outdoors as well but inside a large clear tent with a grass turf with propane patio heaters just in case it gets a little chilly. The main floor of the lodge is also open to everyone. There are bathrooms, a living area with couches and a tv and a game room full of board games.
It’s Alaska! There can be very sunny days and there can be very rainy days and some in between. In the early summer during the day it can be averaging 50-60 degrees, but it can drop to the 40 degrees at night. We highly recommend bringing layers for the evening. There will also be propane patio heaters. June is also the month with the most sunshine with an average of 18 hours of daylight.
The lodge has a very small parking lot so we will be saving those spots for the caters. There is parking all along the street for free.
Cocktail attire. It’s also Alaska so please bring layers! There will be propane patio heaters around as well.
This will be an unplugged ceremony. Please put away your cameras and phones during our wedding ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer and would love to have photos with no phones or devices in them. And of course we will share the photos for everyone to see! After the ceremony during dinner and the reception, please feel free to take all the pictures and videos you want!
