How do I RSVP?

Answer

Inside your invitation, you’ll find a paper RSVP card ready to be mailed back to us. We’ve already addressed it for your convenience—just pop it in the mail and let us know! Please indicate which events you’ll be attending and how many guests will be joining.

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly ask that your RSVP reaches us by October 15th! Our vendors require us to provide the head-count by this date, any unanswered RSVP's will be counted as a "No." Thank you so much for understanding — we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

What is the dress code?

Answer

Dressy, but not black tie! Think cocktail attire with a touch of elegance — longer dresses, midi or maxi are perfect for the ladies. For the gentlemen, suits or sports coats with dress pants are encouraged. No shorts or jeans please. We can’t wait to see you looking your best!

Can I bring a plus-one or little ones?

As much as we love kiddos and new faces, our venue has limited space — so we’re only able to accommodate the guests listed on your invitation. We promise it’ll still be a fun night out, and we so appreciate your understanding!

Will the ceremony be outdoors?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony and reception will be outdoors, so please plan accordingly! We will have space inside to cool down or heat up - whichever way the weather may go! November weather is usually beautiful! Highs of low 80s and lows of 70s with minimal humidity!

Will there be parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! There will be free valet parking and parking attendants to assist guests before the ceremony! Kindly plan your arrival accordingly.

If I am coming from out of town, where should I stay?

Answer

We have secured a hotel block at The Luminary Hotel for our guests. Please visit the Travel page for the booking link and additional details.

Will I be able to take pictures at the wedding ceremony?

Answer

We’ve chosen to have an unplugged ceremony to fully savor the moment together. We kindly ask that you put away phones and cameras during this special time. Once the ceremony is over, please feel free to capture all the memories with photos and videos!

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Answer

Yes, we are happy to accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies. Please kindly inform us of any special dietary needs with a quick note on your RSVP card, so we can make the appropriate arrangements.

Will there be a rehearsal dinner?

Answer

Due to space limitations at the restaurant, attendance is limited to those guests who have received a special invitation. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate guests for this event.

Will there be a ceremony rehearsal?

Answer

Yes, for those participating in the wedding, please arrive at The Heitman House at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The rehearsal dinner will commence at the restaurant immediately following the ceremony rehearsal, so please plan accordingly.

What is Boats & Brunch?

Answer

The celebration will continue the following day from Abbey’s parents’ residence in Marco Island. Guests will be traveling by boat to a nearby remote island beach. Light refreshments and lunch will be provided at the beach!

Will there be transportation from the Luminary Hotel to The Heitman House?
