Laguna Beach
With its art scene and unique coast line, Laguna Beach is picture perfect. So grab your homemade Kombucha and spend a few days in this other-wordly getaway. Of the beach cities in Orange County, Laguna has the strongest tourism industry. Los Angeles
If this will be your first time in Southern California, we suggest taking a few days to explore Los Angeles. We recommend staying on the west side in the neighborhoods of Santa Monica, Venice, West Hollywood, etc. It is roughly a 1-hour drive from Irvine. Start your morning hiking on Runyon Canyon or up to the Griffith Observatory (both with great views of the Hollywood sign). We recommend hiking in Malibu, especially because you may brush shoulders with some celebrities grabbing coffee at Malibu Country Mart! Zuma beach is also a lovely spot to relax.
