Things To Do

We're so excited to share a few of our favorite places in the area with you!
Newport Beach

Newport Beach

Newport Beach, CA,

Old-time charm and modern glamour. Here you can find beachfront cottages, mega-mansions, and nature reserves. If you love the finer things in life, Newport Beach is for you. Time to shop until you drop. No trip is complete without a visit to Fashion Island! Especially if you haven’t done enough shopping at South Coast Plaza, which has the highest concentration of Designer Fashion retailers in the US. For the ultimate luxury experience, we recommend staying at the Pelican Hill Resort. The golf course, with panoramic views of the Pacific, is not to be missed. For a beach vacation, stay in Balboa. You can charter a 12-person Duffy boat and enjoy the sunset on the water. Try a Balboa bar and stroll around the Fun Zone! For beaches, we recommend Crystal Cove, which offers some seclusion and gorgeous views. Luxury, Golf, Beach, Shopping Restaurants - R&D Kitchen, Bandera, Gulfstream, Bamboo Bistro, Mayur Cuisine of India

Huntington Beach

Huntington Beach

Huntington Beach, CA,

Welcome to Surf City! HB is the epicenter of SoCal beach culture. This laid back beach town boasts 10 miles of uninterrupted beach and consistent swells. HB is perfect for those who like to hang loose and live an active lifestyle. We recommend staying at the Hyatt Regency, but there are many budget options just steps from the beach. Cruise down Main Street and make sure to stop at Huntington Beach Surf & Sport (HBSS), where you can rent a surf board. Feeling hungry? For a meal with a view check out Duke's where you can watch surfers as you eat. After dinner, walk over to Pacific City where you can listen to live music and grab a drink. Dance all night at Bungalow and sleep away your hangover at the beach. Budget, Kid-friendly, Active, Surfing

Laguna Beach

Laguna Beach

Laguna Beach, CA,

With its art scene and unique coast line, Laguna Beach is picture perfect. So grab your homemade Kombucha and spend a few days in this other-wordly getaway. Of the beach cities in Orange County, Laguna has the strongest tourism industry. There are plenty of options for accommodations from charming beachside inns, to adorable seaside cottages, as well as a few of the best ranked high-end hotels. In Laguna, you can take it easy. Spend an afternoon strolling around downtown, enjoying local galleries. Enjoy a hike at the Top of the World and take in the breathtaking views or layout on the sand. Los Angeles

Los Angeles

Los Angeles, CA,

If this will be your first time in Southern California, we suggest taking a few days to explore Los Angeles. We recommend staying on the west side in the neighborhoods of Santa Monica, Venice, West Hollywood, etc. It is roughly a 1-hour drive from Irvine. Start your morning hiking on Runyon Canyon or up to the Griffith Observatory (both with great views of the Hollywood sign). We recommend hiking in Malibu, especially because you may brush shoulders with some celebrities grabbing coffee at Malibu Country Mart! Zuma beach is also a lovely spot to relax.
