HOW WE MET

first came pizza, then came love...

Jessica & Brett met in Summer of 2014 on College Ave. in Oakland, working just a few doors down from each other. Brett was managing at Jules Thin Crust, while Jessica worked at a secondhand store called Crossroads Trading. Jules was Jessica’s favorite lunch spot in the area and she would stop by for a couple slices at least twice a week - even bringing in her siblings to try the pizza! That’s when Jessica caught Brett’s eyes and every time he saw her, he would try to make conversation. Eventually he mustered up the courage to ask her out and the two enjoyed their first date with sushi & sake at Sasa in Walnut Creek. Since then, they’ve been inseparable and continued building a life together. They recently purchased their first home in Brentwood and are now excited to become husband + wife!
