Thanks to eHarmony, we got matched out of thousands, millions of love seekers. Angela was living in San Francisco Bay at the time, while Paul was in Sacramento, almost 100 miles away. But we did not let distance get in the way. Our first date was a hike in Walnut Creek on a hot summer day in August 2016. It was 100 degrees and we were both sweating profusely. We thought to ourselves, our date is "pretty HOT". ;-) In the next few months, Paul fell in love with Angie and her 21 year old orange tabby cat "Einstein". And the rest, as they say, is history.

Paul popped The Question on Christmas Day 2018 at the Four Seasons in Wailea, Maui. It was just after sunset and we were enjoying the beautiful view when Paul brought out his phone to read a lovely poem he personally wrote to her. Then the moment came where he got out the ring, went down on one knee and proposed. Excitedly, the bride-to-be immediately said "yes"!
