Our Love Story

It all started with a swipe...

Once upon a time, on a humid April day, two souls met not in a grand ballroom or enchanted forest, but within the quiet walls of a bedroom—through a curious little portal called Hinge. There, Jacob sent a message, one that danced like a line out of a musical, planting the very first seed of what would soon become a love story. At the time, I had not yet gone to FAU, but that would be the place where our eyes first met beyond the screen. We began as friends, wandering into each other’s lives with small adventures. Jacob insists that our very first “date” was nothing more than a humble trip to Aldi’s for groceries—but as destiny would have it, that simple journey forever altered the course of our lives. From that summer of 2023 onward, we became inseparable, spending nearly every day together. Our first official date was at an old-school arcade, where laughter and joy filled the air. Soon after, Jacob asked me to be his girlfriend beneath the sun and sea breeze of the beach, following a meal at a charming little Mexican restaurant in Meizner, Boca Raton. Of course, no great love story is without its trials. Our path has not always been straight or easy, but through it all, our faith and devotion to God became the lantern that guided us through the darkest nights. Each challenge only strengthened the bond between us, weaving threads of resilience and trust into the tapestry of our love. Then, on a fateful day—August 28th, 2025—Jacob knelt before me and asked the most magical question of all: to be his wife. With joy overflowing, I said yes. And so, our tale continues—not as the end, but as the beginning of a new chapter, a love story written by faith, strengthened by trials, and blessed by God.
