We’re Getting Married

Rewind, February 2023, Zack made plans with his friends/family to ride his motorcycle from Dallas to IL/WI to attend the Harley Davidson 120 year Anniversary Rally and use it as a cover story to propose to Elle. Aligning friends, family, and Elle’s employer, a plan was devised to unknowingly get Elle’s work to fly her home for a “work meeting” on the same week that Zack just happened to be home for the Harley Davidson Anniversary Rally. Elle’s top favorite things are being on the water, being in the presence of family, and proudly identifying as a Wisconsinite. Travis Urban, owner and personal friend to Zack, reserved his boat “Kanaloa Tiki Lounge” for a friends day on the Milwaukee River with the Hoan Bridge in the background. This is an iconic piece of Milwaukee architecture that is tattooed to Elle’s forearm. This was the perfect place to have what would be a complete surprise for an engagement. Being in the presence of friends, family, and everything Elle cherishes close to her heart, Zack proposed to Elle on the water in front of the Hoan Bridge in the city they met and fell in love.
